| 説明 | As I prepare for my descent, I spot this monkey on a large trash can just near the exit to the Batu Caves near KL, Malaysia. I am diabetic, and after having endured the 272 steps climb up to the Batu Caves, and another 15-20 steps up to the second temple inside the caves, I needed to get a sugar rush before my climb back down. I rested at a bench near the exit to take a few hard boiled sweets. That's when I spotted this monkey on a trash bin- I was quite apprehensive as these simians are known to attack at the very sight or smell of food. Luckily for me, this fellow let me unwrap my sweets in peace and simply moved on. (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Sept. 2023) |
