| 説明 | The infamous aggressive macaques (monkeys) of Batu Caves! There are scores of horror stories about these sometimes aggressive simians which waylay visitors on the way up the caves, with people saying they were scratched or intimidated by them etc. I myself had a bag of fruit snatched from my hands by one of these critters on my previous visit here back in 2002. This is the first of the many pesky monkeys I encountered on my way up, now in 2023. Most of them were surprisingly very docile as many of them had just given birth, like this one here, nursing her cute little baby. (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Sept. 2023) |
