| 説明 | This is the footbridge over the Dudley Southern Bypass in Dudley.The bypass was first proposed in 1987, but wasn't given the go ahead until 1993. Preliminary work began in 1994 with a target completion date of 1998. It opened in October 1999.The road became the Duncan Edwards Way in 2008, in memory of the local football legend who died in 1958 as a result of injuries sustained in the Munich air disaster.Reminds me of a suspension bridge.The footbridge is the Claughton Rd North footbridge.I was suprised to find a light sprinkle of snow in Dudley - it was cold out here! My exposed hand (used to take the pictures) felt it! |
