| 説明 | This is the roundabout in Dudley with various sculptures.CycleIt was commissioned as part of the European Funded scheme - 'Millennium Axis'.The collection of sculptures is called Cycle.The roundabout is on the A461 - linking the Dudley Southern Pass, Birmingham Road, Castle Hill and Tipton Road.The island is called Castle Gate Island.Cycle opened in 2002 after two years work.There are seven sculptures on huge earthworks, made in bronze, wood, ceramic, reclaimed brick, concrete and corten-steelCastle Gate IslandFrom this side Mediaeval Plough, Bronze Crucible, Heraldic Lion and Enigmatic stone walls.All sculptures here were designed by Andrew Burton. |
