| 説明 | Seen near the top of Harbor Mountain in the Tongass National Forest on Baranof Island near Sitka, Alaska. Harbor Mountain Recreation Area is the only place in southeastern Alaska where it is possible to drive from sea level to the subalpine. The fog in the early afternoon was so pervasive that everything was dripping with moisture. It rains about 235 days a year on Sitka, totaling about 84.5 inches (2,146 mm) per year.
