説明 | Built in 1926, this Prairie-style building was constructed to house the Poseyville Masonic Lodge, chartered in 1901. The building is clad in red brick with buff brick accent panels and trim, and a large limestone panel above the central window bays with the words “Masonic Temple” emblazoned on it, fixed windows, a low-slope roof enclosed by a parapet, gabled parapets above the two entrance bays, buff brick in soldier and herringbone course patterns, brick pilasters between the window bays at the center of the second floor of the front facade, and awnings wrapped in standing seam metal with decorative wooden brackets. The building remains in use today as a masonic lodge. |
