| 説明 | *Français! D'apès "LA NAISSANCE" un don de l'artiste allemand Ludwig Schumacher à l'église de Kemmel. Sur le socle de chêne l'artiste a présenté un enfant nouveau-né qui est couvert d'une main protectrice. La rondeur du socle représente le corps et le ventre d'une femme enceinte. A un certain endroit elle prend la forme d'une femme qui entoure de ses mains, non seulement la terre, mais aussi son propre corps. Sur le socle il y a quatre personnages qui portent les marques des cicatrices du Christ. Ils sont les symboles des missionnaires du Christ sur cette terre. Ils annoncent le message de "paix et amour", message destiné à tous, sans distinction d'origine. Dans les quatre personnages le spectateur peut distinguer un Asiatique, un Africain, un Indien (Amérique) et un Européen. La statue exprime l'espoir que ni la race, ni le sexe, ni l'origine n'empêcheront la créance commune au bien. Les quatre figures sont faites d' un arbre et après elles sont rassemblées pour obtenir de nouveau l'arbre du début.*Anglais: From "THE BIRTH" donated by the German artist Ludwig Schumacher to the church of Kemmel. On the oak base the artist has presented a newborn child who is covered with a protective hand. The roundness of the base represents the body and belly of a pregnant woman. At a certain point it takes the form of a woman who surrounds with her hands, not only the earth, but also her own body. On the base there are four figures who bear the marks of the scars of Christ. They are the symbols of the missionaries of Christ on this earth. They announce the message of "peace and love", a message intended for all, without distinction of origin. In the four figures the spectator can distinguish an Asian, an African, an Indian (America) and a European. The statue expresses the hope that neither race, nor sex, nor origin will prevent the common belief in good.
