| 説明 | In the highly successful joint Operation Corridor Roundup, the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS), Northern Iowa Fugitive Task Force (NIFTF), teamed up with various local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies to investigate, locate, and apprehend violent crime suspects. Focusing on the Cedar Rapids, IA area, this collaborative initiative has yielded remarkable results, with twenty-one (21) fugitives apprehended since its inception.These arrests targeted individuals wanted for heinous offenses such as murder, attempted murder, sexual abuse, burglary, robbery, assault, and failure to register as sex offenders. The NIFTF Cedar Rapids Office has been instrumental in coordinating the efforts of participating agencies, including the Cedar Rapids Police Department, Linn County Sheriffâs Office, Iowa Department of Public Safety â Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Marion Police Department, Waterloo Police Department, Iowa Department of Corrections â High-Risk Unit, Linn County Attorneyâs Office, and the U.S. Attorneyâs Office for the Northern District of Iowa.The success of Operation Corridor Roundup reflects the dedication and commitment of these law enforcement agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of the Cedar Rapids community. By swiftly apprehending these violent fugitives, they have effectively neutralized threats posed by individuals involved in serious criminal activities. |
