説明 | Syringa vulgaris 'Primrose' 23W21 Yellow Lilac T3- (1949) Yellow Lilac, Mature plant size: 10x8ft., Creamy Yellow, USDA Hardiness Zone 3, Michigan Bloom Week ISO WW19, In Garden Bed T3 for 9.9 YEARS (Park). Planted in 2013.Unusual yellow flowered lilac. Introduced in 1949, Primrose bears numerous graceful, yet dense panicles of pastel yellow flowers in mid-spring. Won a Royal Horticulture Society Award of Merit in 1950. Usually more cream or creamy-yellow. In some cases, it only appears unique when grown amidst white-flowered plants for contrast. Planted in 2013. No blooms in 2014 or 15. My guess is that this plant will be like my 'Claire de lune' peony, WHITE.The time to prune mature lilac plants is just after the flowers have faded. Lilacs set their next season's flower buds almost immediately, so late pruning will mean sacrificing next year's flowers.Lower trim in 2021.Photo by F.D.Richards, SE Michigan.
