| 説明 | Welcome to the Sid Luce Reservoir, which is currently thawing out for spring. Lisa McNee, BLMOn April 13, 2023, the ice is melting at this oasis in the southern Oregon high desert. Tucked high atop the plateau between Lake Abert and Plush, Oregon, the reservoir is stocked with rainbow trout and features views of the Warner Mountains in the distance.There is a dirt ramp that allows for the launching of canoes or small boats, but generally the terrain is rugged and without amenities. Access roads are unpaved and may be impassable in wet conditions. Recommended items: Water; food; sturdy shoes; high-clearance vehicle; bug spray; sunscreen; and a hat.The reservoir is managed by the BLM and stocked by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife. The nearest services, including gas and potable water, are in Plush, about 20 miles away.
