| 説明 | From Castlehead Wood, I descended to the path that leads to Spring Road for the next leg of my walk. Turning southwards along the road, I paused to take a photo of the view enjoyed by the people who live there. I continued until I reached a farm, an ice cream shop and a gate leading into Spring Wood. Soon I reached and crossed the wooden bridge that led out of the wood to the path that would take me towards Walla Crag. With Spring Wood on my Ieft, I headed for Rakefoot Farm, but I passed it without realising and travelled half-a-mile in the wrong direction past Castlerigg caravan park and down to the A591 road before I discovered my error. I then had to walk back, uphill, until I saw the footbridge I was looking for and the track up the steepest section of the walk to the top. On my way up I took a couple more photos of the mountains. |
