Active; focal plane 35 m (115 ft); white flash every 8 s. 30 m (98 ft) round cylindrical concrete tower with lantern and double gallery. Lighthouse painted white with horizontal red bands below the galleries; lantern dome is metallic gray.The old lighthouse was built in 1950s (station established 1897). Inactive since about 1986.
