| 説明 | Chobe National Park is home to the largest population of African elephant in the world, estimated at over 70 000. During the dry season they all come to the Chobe River to drink. The river and park together offer some of the finest game viewing in Africa, with sightings of enormous herds of elephant and buffalo, large prides of lion, and numerous puku antelope (not seen elsewhere in Botswana). To facilitate free movement of animals, Wildlife Dispersal Areas have been identified as a priority in KAZA’s Integrated Management Plan. Elephant are known to migrate between Chobe National Park and neighbouring countries. |
