| 説明 | I had to say it yesterday didn't I? Let's see what the morning brings...Well, it brought surprisingly thick snow. When I opened the front door it was a bit of a 'wow' moment and I realised that when I got to work I'd almost certainly be on a snow shovel.The drive to to work was, however, entertaining. Cars, trucks and buses struggling everywhere and the announcement that Merseyrail had cancelled all services.Once I got to work I went to grab a shovel only to find that clearing work was paused as it seemed to be making things more slippy, not less, and decisions were being considered.The decision was made - given local traffic conditions it wasn't safe enough to bring the students in. The forecast was for no more snow, but low temperatures meaning no thaw either.That wasn't quite how it panned out. I took a photo when I came out the house first thing, and another one about six hours later. Spot the difference. You couldn't make it up. |
