| 説明 | Albert Dock Area #2 Canning DockThis dock, named after a former Liverpool MP, opened in 1737 and has access to the River Mersey via a half-tide dock. The two Canning Graving dry docks provide access to the Maritime Museum.Canning Dock's northerly side abuts Strand Street , while on its eastern side, a road (Salthouse Quay) runs between Canning dock and Salthouse Dock. To its South, the Dock is almost bisected by a before it widens again at bridges between Albert Dock and Mann Island, the latter forming Canning Dock’s western edge. Personally, I prefer the views offered by Canning Dock to any of those provided by its neighbours. Perhaps you’ll agree when you’ve seen the shots I’ve taken at all three of the docks. |
