| 説明 | Something new for me - I don't often take architectural images, but when you get an opportunity to tour this grand dame, you should definitely jump at the chance.Opened in 1880, it is the perfect example of gothic architecture (with the mix of Roman engineering) and only took 18 months to complete (under budget and under time - how unheard of!). There is a temporary exhibition in the basement, with plans to further open up the space and display all sorts of historical wares. |
