| 説明 | In March 2016, we were driving on Interstate 10 southeast of Tucson when we saw all these Union Pacific locomotives lined up in the desert. The interstate did have an interchange at the site, but the road sign only gave the exit number; no other information.More research showed that these locomotives are being stored in the desert until Union Pacific needs them again. Perhaps some will be scrapped, I don't know. But it was an unusual sight to see as we were traveling along! |
