| 説明 | Built in 1893, this three-story Richardsonian Romanesque Revival-style building was built for Doctor S. M. Miller, and early on housed the Knoxville Business College. The building features a rusticated stone facade with one-over-one windows, arched windows on the first and second floors, a distinctive keyhole-shaped archway at the front entrance, a cornice with stone corbeling and dentils, arched basement windows, and brick cladding on the side and rear facades. The building is a contributing structure in the Gay Street Commercial Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. |
