| 説明 | Taronga Western Plains Zoo. The zoo was established in 1977 and today it has 97 species of animals and over 1,000 animals. We will do a short drive with some stops and then you can walk around or have free time there. It has a good café for refreshments. Given the environment of Dubbo the zoo specialises in animals that roam wide open spaces from Asia and Africa- namely African lions, Asian elephants, Cheetahs, Sumatran tigers, giraffes and zebras, meerkats, takhi ( Mongolian horses), rhino, pigmy hippo, lemurs and Australian koalas, kangaroos etc. Some of these species are part of international conservation plans. |
