| 説明 | Taken on the 17/10/2022 at 15:16:36Hrs using a Panosonic Lumix DMC-FZ 1000 camera.The Customs House is one of the best known and iconic buildings in King's Lynn UK, it is a Grade 1 listed building built in 1685, and sits on the waters’ edge very near to Tuesday Market Place where traders would have taken their wares to sell. This is now the Tourist Information Office and a Maritime Museum. It was built by Sir John Turner in 1683 and designed by architect Henry Bell.The statue is of Captain George Vancouver (22 June 1757 – 10 May 1798) who was a British officer of the Royal Navy, best known for his 1791–95 expedition, which explored and charted North America's northwestern Pacific Coast |
