説明 | New York Army National Guard Soldiers assigned to Task Force Wolfhound and stationed at Camp Simba, Kenya, received their deployment patches during a ceremony, Oct. 12. The deployment patch, formally known as the shoulder sleeve insignia for military operations in hostile conditions, is authorized for permanent wear for Soldiers who actively participate in or support military operations in hostile conditions, which must include exposure to the threat of hostile action or fire, either directly or indirectly.During the ceremony, Soldiers from Headquarters, Bravo, and Delta Companies, 1st Battalion, 69th Infantry Regiment and Charlie Company, 2nd Battalion, 108th Infantry Regiment were presented with their deployment patches. Following the ceremonies, Lt. Col. Shawn Tabankin and Command Sgt. Maj. Jason Zeller, the Task Force Wolfhound commander and senior enlisted leader respectively, recognized outstanding Soldiers and noncommissioned officers for their achievements during the deployment.
