| 説明 | HMS QUEEN ELIZABETH HOSTS ATLANTIC FUTURE FORUM CONFERENCEAt the start of day two of the confrerence delegates are welcome to the ship with a demonstration of the Gravity jet pack.On 28-29 September the 5th Atlantic Future Forum (AFF22) was held on board Royal Navy Flagship HMS Queen Elizabeth, anchored off New York. Delegates from across the political, military and business spheres were formally welcomed by Captain Ian Feasey, Commanding Officer. Over the course of the two days panel discussions will be held and delegates will have the opportunity to talk with industry partnters.The Forum will be led by the Department for International Trade (DIT), working alongside the Ministry of Defence (MOD) and Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) to strengthen the trade and economic pillars of the Euro-Atlantic alliance and reinforce our security and defence partnerships with like-minded, democratic allies. The AFF is chaired by Lord Sedwill and will be co-hosted by the First Sea Lord, Admiral Sir Ben Key and HM Ambassador Dame Karen Pierce.HMS Queen Elizabeth is the lead ship of the Queen Elizabeth class of aircraft carriers and the Fleet Flagship of the Royal Navy. She is named in honour of the first HMS Queen Elizabeth, a World War I era super-dreadnought, which in turn was named after Queen Elizabeth I. The ship carries her namesake ship's honours, as well as her Tudor rose-adorned crest and motto. |
