Joshua Wood, Commander of 51st Fighter Wing, and senior staff welcomed a congressional delegation led by Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi at Osan Air Base, Aug. 3.During the visit to Korea the delegation met with Korean National Assembly Speaker Kim Jin-pyo along with senior ROK officials, spoke with the President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Suk-yeol, toured the Joint Security Area / Demilitarized Zone, and spoke with service members at the JSA and Osan Air Base. This visit led by Speaker Pelosi was part of a congressional delegation to visit several Asian countries to reaffirm the United States' commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific and stability in the region. |
