| 説明 | Sixth form pupils from Newtown made the most of their opportunity to have their say on board the National Assembly for Wales Bus on Friday. Presiding Officer, Dafydd Ellis Thomas, was there to greet them and spent the day discussing issues that were of importance to them. As they will be voting for the first time next year, they were pleased to put forward their thoughts on the voting system. Methods of voting was one topic raised by a number on board the bus, with some saying that casting a vote at the polling station can be quite an intimidating task. When casting their vote, a few weren’t sure whether they should choose who they would like to represent them on a local or a national level. The Presiding Officer emphasised that both things were of the same importance as the people of Wales have the opportunity to make two choices, by voting locally and nationally.
