| 説明 | Paeonia 'Abalone Pearl' 5/2022 xPeony V4- (Krekler 1978) (2-SD-PK) xPeony Peony, Mature plant size: 36in., CORAL, 5-6 in. cupped coral pink, medium height, USDA Hardiness Zone 3-8, Michigan Bloom Week ISO WW20 W21, In Garden Bed V4 for 7.7 YEARS (Jung). Planted in 2014.American Peony Society: 32 inch, early, huge flesh single, nice.Hybrid Peony 'Abalone Pearl' (Krekler 1978). Early flesh single or semi-double, cupped flowers 5-6 inches wide that are coral-pink with a pearl tint. Golden-yellow stamens. Slightly fragrant. Scapes rise 6-7 inches above to foliage. William H. Krekler (1900-2002) from Somerville, Ohio (population ~300, located about 50 miles north of Cincinnati). A hybridizer who registered more than 400 cultivars from his breeding program, most of which were released in the 1960s and 70s. In 1977, he sold his peony breeding farm to Charles Klehm and Son Nursery. Also, at that time, a number of seedlings were purchased by other breeders.
