説明 | In the small town of Weston, about 20 miles east of Pendleton, teacher Craig Angell and his Weston Middle School students created “thank you” cards for the ODOT District 12 Pendleton Maintenance crew, who plow the state routes in the area. To let the kids know how much their gesture meant, students were invited to name one of the Pendleton crew’s snowplows, and arranged a visit to the school — with a snowplow — on March 15. The students submitted three potential names: “White Out,” “Snow Slayer” and “Baby Snowda.” The Pendleton crew chose “Baby Snowda.” |
