| 説明 | Built in 1933, Cincinnati Union Terminal is an Art Deco masterpiece designed by the firm Fellheimer and Wagner, built at the tail end of the golden age of passenger railroad travel. The building features intricate and extensive decoration and artwork inside, and was used as the city's train station until 1972, when Amtrak shifted service to a new station built in Lower Price Hill on River Road. The old terminal languished until 1990, when it was converted into the Cincinnati Museum Center. A massive restoration and renovation was undertaken on the structure between 2016 and 2018. |
