| 説明 | The Hunting Group submission for the RAF's trainer requirement (the Jet Provost repacement) was the NDN-1T Firecracker. The two Firecrackers (G-SFTR and G-SFTS) and Clive Hunting visited East Midlands in December 1984 for a press presentation intended to generate local support.The contract eventually went to the Short Tucano.G-SFTR went to the USA as N2157C in 1989.G-SFTS also went to the USA, in 1992 as N50FK and I believe it is still flying in Oregon.Photo: Dick Gilbert, East Midlands Airport, December 1984. |
