| 説明 | Further upstream a field of ice.An ice dam formed on the Credit River and flooding upstream resulted. In the Streetsville are where these images were taken the high banks surrounding the flood plain precluded any serious impact but further upstream flooding did occur and required closure of some roads.I didn't clue in to the event until after it cleared but I was astounded by the amount of ice that was stranded once the dam was breached and water levels returned to normal. Tons of ice in many cases well removed from the normal shoreline were spread all through the floodplain and along the hiking trails beside the river._DSF2205 |
