説明 | Edition 2022 - Bright BrusselsHYPERFORM - Antoine Goldschmidt & Colas FiszmanMonumental sculpture woven by hundreds of lasers.A monumental laser sculpture, HYPERFORM weaves real sheets of light in the air.HYPERFORM refers to the geometric shapes the work is composed of, namely hyperbolic paraboloids. What makes these curved surfaces so unique is that they are formed by sets of straight lines. 250 lasers weave these surfaces of light, which come alive and play with the three dimensions of space and time, on the crossroads between orthogonality and organicity, nature and technology, shadow and light.HYPERFORM is the result of a collaboration between Brussels-based artists Antoine Goldschmidt, Colas Fiszman and Brice Deloose aka Pattrn. This new creation is being presented for the first time at the Bright Brussels 2022 festival.
