| 説明 | This is one of the first plants to return after a fire. It has orange flowers which quickly turn into almost spherical balls. It can grow to 4 metres and will then disappear from the landscape until the next fire.Here you can see the fruit ripening showing the segments of the plant. One is about to fall apart. We took a collection of the plant for the WAHerbarium and as the plant dried, the seed cases opened releasing many seed. Photo: Jean |
