| 説明 | As is often the case, I've only been able to find the one black and white photo of this painting, in an Internet Archive art book. The title is an educated guess based on the fact that there are nine women in the picture. The Muses were the nine goddesses of inspiration, and what's more inspiring than a group of young women in sheer see-through garments?!Colorized version here. |
