| 説明 | We're Here looking for wings on Wednesday, so I found some attached to a wheel on a postage stamp. This is a Belgian railway stamp from 1902. Apparently, if you had a parcel to post back in those days, you would go to the railway station and pay the postage there. It would be quicker than going to the post office and then having them deliver it to the train. Color a bit modified and enhanced for this image. I have the stamp in a handful of pages from an old album I bought at a thrift shop, and the pages and many of the stamps are yellowed by age, non-acid-free paper, and poor storage. But it's fun to have! |
