説明 | The young man is portrayed dressed as a rustic god exhibiting flowers in a wide fold of the mantle coverung the lower part of his body. A flowers crown embellishes his thick hair arranged in wavy locks ending in curls.Some scholars consider this sculpture to be a depiction of Antinous as “Agathos Daimon”, the good spirit, a divinity protecting the vineyards, the fields and the towns.
