| 説明 | c/n 1AOriginally built as ‘Ship 1’ in 1942 but rebuild as ‘Ship 1A’ in 1943 after an accident. The rebuild introduced a tricycle undercarriage and a semi-enclosed cockpit. The type served as a demonstration test bed for the Bell 47, one of the world’s most successful helicopters.“Genevieve” was donated to the Smithsonian Institute in 1964 and is seen on display at the Steven F.
