| 説明 | Paeonia 'Pink Hawaiian Coral' 5/2021 xPeony- (Roy Klehm, 1981) (2-SD-PK) xPeony Peony, Mature size: 40", Tall, semi-double, coral pink petals, cupped, notched petal edges, yellow stamens, pink tipped carpels, fragrant, no sidebuds, early bloomer, USDA Hardiness Zone 3-8, Michigan Bloom Month 5c, In Garden Bed N2,04 for 7.6 YEARS (Wild06). Planted in 2013.American Peony Society: PINK HAWAIIAN CORAL -Roy Klehm. June 25,1981. Seedling #F7; semi-double hybrid, parentage Charlie's White x Otto Froebel; first bloomed 1972. Pink coral, semidouble, good substance, stamens, pollen, fragrant, no seeds, good amount of bloom; 36-inch height, early, good foliage, excellent stem strength. Cupped and rounded double and triple row of guard petals holding on attractive coral and pinkish array of petals. The semidouble blooms are especially becoming with their golden stamens.A cross of Charlie's White x Otto Froebel. Named after the color of the coral of the Hawaiian Islands. I have not been there or done that, so I cannot confirm. APS Gold Medal Award 2000. Award of Landscape Merit 2009. Like many of the coral peonies, it goes through some fairly drastic color changes. This particular plant is somewhat of a garden showoff, a really healthy, good sized plant with a plethora of blooms all at one time.Photo by F.D.Richards, SE Michigan.
