| 説明 | During my walkabout in downtown Frederiksted, on St. Croix of the US Virgin Islands, I noticed this attractive building with its arched colonnade.The town was destroyed by fire in 1878 during a labor revolt. Many of the 1700's buildings were destroyed. The town was rebuilt during the Victorian era, resulting in buildings with "gingerbread" trim. |
