| 説明 | A number of contacts wrote or commented on my last post expressing an interest on what exactly was being photographed and how.Please allow me to make a brief description - anybody wishes more details info should not hesitate to write.Here is the view of a sculpture on the grounds of the University of Kansas. The artist - who name I promise to post soon - used living trees and branches to create this unusual work. I am experimenting on using multiple images to create unusual panoramas and the previous post is an example. To capture the small rounded interior of this sculpture using a single capture would be difficult - for starters, you would need a "fisheye" lens and I don't have one! Instead, I used a wide angle lens with my camera on a level, rotating tripod to take 13 images. I then used photostiching software to bind them into a single image. The result is a 2 dimensional, high resolution image to give an idea of the inside of the structure.I used a timer for each shot and on one capture, I stood in the opening that is closest to the viewer here. I appear at the top there and am upside down, but that image has no "right side up."I hope you enjoy the series and I thank you for the visit. |
