説明 | Candylicious was the first OMG that got me interested in the line. In theory, she's everything I'd want in a doll - kawaii themed, pastel colours (with pink included), adorably detailed fashion with cute accessories and love heart face decals. She's even a fellow piscean! It all felt uncannily fated. But alas! My first Candy that I bought on release came terribly defective with missing lip paint, messy eye paint, stains on her nose and a random bubble beside it. Shocked by such abysmal quality control, Candy was to become my first and last OMG doll... that is, until Roller chick and Rocker boi graced the scene (and stole the show!). These two dolls rescued the OMG doll line for me, and rekindled my desire (and need) to collect them!Anyway, as soon as I restarted collecting OMG dolls, I knew I needed a more "perfect" Candy for my collection. However, Candylicious was from the second series so she's mostly sold out everywhere in New Zealand. Fortunately and magically, I was able to find three at a local Kmart, and I ended up buying two. I probably should've bought all three because both the ones I got had some issues. When I went back the following day for the third Candy I left behind - she was already gone.I really seem to have the worst luck with Candylicious 😅 Anyhow, both new Candys were still better than my first defected one. So I chose the "better" one to debox, gussy up and display. She's the Candy you see here.Overall, Candylicious is a very cute doll (defects and all), though Roller chick's stolen her place as my favourite OMG girl. |
