説明 | Snapshot of two unidentified U.S. Marines kneeling down to pet a St. Bernard dog named Bounty on a lawn outside in a residential area in Jacksonville, NC, on Thanksgiving Day, November 22, 1945, during World War II. The dog belonged to Marine couple Sgt. Jim and Marge Brown, friends of Delbert L. and Leona J. Tenney. Both Jim Brown and Delbert Tenney were stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC, at the time (November 22, 1945).
