| 説明 | While almost everything on display outside a Hobbit Hole is artificial, Hobbiton does have several small gardens that individual Hobbits may have tended. Many flowers abound throughout the set, adding to the beauty of the location. However, I suspect that some of the produce at the gardens is just a prop -- it wasn't the right season for pumpkins, for example.A scene from our tour of the Hobbiton set, made famous in the "Lord of the Rings" movie series. Located on the Alexander Sheep Farm near Matamata, New Zealand, the 12 acre movie set is a must-see for fans and is a delight for those who aren't familiar with the movies, too. 44 permanently constructed Hobbit Holes are on the site, as well as the Green Dragon Inn. Anything outside of a Hobbit Hole is artificial; a prop for the movie.It was springtime in the Shire when we visited. Baby Lambs were bounding everywhere.September, 2016 |
