| 説明 | Chimneys abound throughout Hobbiton. Almost every Hobbit Hole has one, plus there are some extras throughout the site to show that the population is even more robust. Many of the chimneys are functions. Staff build small fires in them so that smoke gently drifts from the stack.A scene from our tour of the Hobbiton set, made famous in the "Lord of the Rings" movie series. Located on the Alexander Sheep Farm near Matamata, New Zealand, the 12 acre movie set is a must-see for fans and is a delight for those who aren't familiar with the movies, too. 44 permanently constructed Hobbit Holes are on the site, as well as the Green Dragon Inn. Anything outside of a Hobbit Hole is artificial; a prop for the movie.It was springtime in the Shire when we visited. Baby Lambs were bounding everywhere.September, 2016 |
