| 説明 | This is the Smallpox Hospital, designed by James Renwick Jr. (Renwick also designed St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York). The hospital falls into disrepair and becomes known as the "Renwick Ruin"The hospital was added to the National Register of Historic Places, making it New York City's "only landmarked ruin. After a $4.5 million dollar stabilization project, the Smallpox Hospital ruins will be open to the public. |
