| 説明 | Introduced, warm-season, short-lived perennial herb, with a mostly adventitious root system; sparsely pilose or almost hairless. Leaves are stalked and form a basal rosette; lamina are ovate to elliptic, mostly 4–20 cm long and 2–10 cm wide, 5–7-veined, margins with a few small blunt teeth. Flowerheads are cylindrical spikes, mostly 8–25 cm long, compact except near the base. Sepals are 2–2.5 mm long and hairless. Corolla lobes are 1.5–1.8 mm long. Fruit are subglobose to ovoid capsules 5–6 mm long. Flowers from October to March. A native of Europe and Asia, it grows along creek banks and seepage lines on sandy gravelly soils. |
