| 説明 | Second World War heavy anti-aircraft battery at Clandeboye, outside Belfast. The site is unusual in that there are only two square gun pits, and it doesn't look like others were ever in existence. This had led to some reports that construction on the battery was never finished, but it is more likely that the small number of guns made available to Northern Ireland would have resulted in reduced capacity across some sites. |
