BLM Nestled safely in a crevice near the bottom of Lion’s Head Rock, the downy chick shows the spots on its head and body that are common for Western gull chicks.Gull chicks are fed by both parents and are usually capable of flight about six or seven weeks after hatching, according to the National Audubon Society.
