| 説明 | The City of Bozeman and a few of its citizens are ill informed on plant identification and ecology such that many native plant species suffer eradication through so-called weed management efforts. Here, Canada goldenrod has been targeted with herbicide. Over time, the surrounding exotic grasses, mostly smooth brome and quakegrass, have become even more abundant. It is safe to say that the noxious weed concept has caused much more harm than good, an assertion encapsulated in this photo. |
