| 説明 | Another Naga style entrance gate to a village en route from Ukhrul to the Phangrei hill in Manipur in NE India. The sign says Shirui Village. I managed to avoid the windshield sticker this time but sadly the gate was in half cut style. It's signts like this that fascinate me- life of the locals- I am not too much in temples and religious institutions and shopping or night life. My son and I are here in Imphan, NE India to attend a wedding (see previous pictures earlier in this album). That behind us now, we are driving now from Ukhrul to Phangrei hill- a popular picnic spot in this region- with members of our host family. (Ukhrul, Manipur, NE India, Jan. 2020) |
