| 説明 | A selfie by a colorful souvenir shop just as we approach the historic Durbar square in Bhaktapur, Nepal. Don’t you simply love the shape of the Nepalese flag? Most of the offerings were tourist kitsch and face masks, so we did not call at the shop. Shopping was not the first thing on my mind here anyway. At any rate, Bhaktapur is famous for two things: the Nepalese vibrating bowl and the Thangka Painting chool- notes and pictures of these appear later as we go along.
