| 説明 | Budding genius or blooming idiot? My good guide was so enahoured of this scene that he insisted on taking a picture of me against it. We are at the top of the Anadu Hill in Pokhara, Nepal, atop which is perched the Vishwa Shanti Stupa or World Peace Pagoda, which is just out of the picture. Behind me are freshly bloomed what I think is a strain of Coreopsis grandiflora sunflowers, and beyond that the cloud covered (as usual) snow capped Himalayan peaks of the Annapurna range. I have braved the strenuous trek here for these Himalayan views, too bad they were hiding behind cloud cover most of the time- just my usual luck with mountains anywhere in the world- they reveal themselves for barely a minute and disappear even before I switch on my camera and lock focus on them.
